Making an Online Accident Claim

No win no fee compensation claims, known as Conditional Fee Agreements, were introduced to our UK legal system in 1998: an alternative to seeking legal aid. A very beneficial one it has proved, as millions have realised their ability to win personal injury compensation without having to pay a penny for representation.

To add to that, us Britons also have the capacity to make our claims for personal injury online. So a person, injured, hurting, suffering, recovering, the victim of a car smash, can make a road traffic accident claim online, without leaving the house and hindering their all important recovery process. Same goes for their insurance claim for their car too. The injured person can make an online insurance claim, not having to leave the house. Thanks the internet, thanks solicitors and thanks insurance companies.

The thing is you see, that before 1998, when the appropriate channel for personal injury claim compensation was public sector territory – legal aid – there was no advertising. No advertising means no public knowledge means mass ignorance in relation to victims making claims. And so we may be approached by another clipboard evangelist, asking whether we’ve had any accidents in the last five years beyond shaving cuts and unwanted pregnancies, and this may be somewhat annoying when it occurs for the millionth time. At least though, at least we all know we’ll get free personal injury compensation if we’re ever injured.

Your solicitor will make their money through the insurance company of the defence team, meaning that you, as the plaintiff, will receive all of the money that is awarded to you – all of the money that is awarded to you. This is the case with neck injury claims, traffic accident claims, accident in work claims, whiplash injury claims and all other claims that relate to being injured as the result of the negligence of an organisation or individual. If you have the desire for any further information you should call an Accident Advice Helpline for further assistance on making injury claims.
